He spent 3 years in Deloitte Haskins and Sells, Chennai, where he has extensively worked on statutory audits and systems audits for various corporate. This had given him an edge on various laws such as VAT/CST, Service tax, Excise and Customs, Foreign Trade Policies(FTP), Special Economic Zone(SEZ) and Export Oriented Units (EOU).

In quick succession, he then passed his Chartered Accountancy Examinations in the same year after having completed his tenure as articled assistant.
